The project City of the World is unique. “National quarters” of the peoples of the world reflecting their environment, cultural uniqueness and coloring will be designed by Armenian architects from all over the world. National quarters will consist of 5-7 modules such as the Life Module (hotels, dwelling houses and households), the Memory Module (museums, record storages), the Creativity Module (workshops, artisanship), the Entertainment Module (national cuisine restaurants, shops, media portals), and the Health Module (special ambulatories, spa complexes, nature oasis). All the authorial works presented by the architects will become part of the World Gallery which will be exhibited after the Shanghai EXPO in all the countries of the world and thereafter the collection will return to Armenia to occupy its legitimate place at the State museum of architecture. In addition, thanks to the Shanghai on-line system, the access to these works will be possible literally all over the world. Based on the presented designs, the virtual replica of the City of the World will be made which will become an area of free creativity and good neighborly relations.
